Joyce began her career at The Personnel People in 1994, working as a Recruiter. After several years in that role, she acquired the company in 2001. With over twenty-five years of recruiting and management experience, Joyce is dedicated to the business mission of providing quality staffing and recruiting services to her clients.
Joyce received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and is a licensed Elementary Education teacher. Joyce is an avid networker and supports a number of philanthropic organizations. Some of her business memberships include, the American Heart Association (Circle of Red), the United Way (Women United), The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce, The Rhode Island Staffing Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management. Joyce is a 2006 recipient of the PBN 40 Under Forty award and 2012 recipient of the PBN Women in Business Achievement Award. She has been interviewed by Channel 12 multiple times and was the guest speaker on the TV program Women in Business. She has been featured in the Providence Business News, the Rhode Island Business Quarterly, and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce publications multiple times.
In her free time, Joyce practices vinyasa and meditative yoga, plays tennis and enjoys maintaining her perennial gardens.
